The Striker forging hammer is made to Striker Tools USA engineering specifications by the Shanxi Forging Press Factory. They are the only factory Striker Tools USA uses due to the following reasons:

a.) They are the top ISO certified hammer factory in mainland China and have been continuously producing forging hammers for over 55 years and have exported to over 48 countries worldwide.

b.) They are the largest forging hammer factory in China and only make forging hammers - nothing else.

c.) Due to the nature of the low-sulfur content iron ore in their region, Shanxi was the first to develop the one-piece forging hammer - they have been making these specialty hammers for over 40 years. Other Chinese hammer factories are located in regions with high-sulfur ore and were afraid to cast the one-piece frames.

Recently, due to the success of the Striker/Shanxi one-piece hammers, these secondary factories are now copying the Striker hammer and are producing experimental one-piece hammers. Which would you rather buy? An experimental one-piece hammer made for 4 months and not field tested or a proven one-piece work horse made for over 40 years?

d.) Shanxi does all of the casting, machining and assembly in house within it's own factory so that they can control the quality. Other Chinese hammers, recently introduced in America, are made by factories that make forging hammers as a sideline to other products and don't even do their own casting - all casting, machining and assembly are done at smaller, hard-to-control, village mini-factories and foundries. We know this because Striker Tools USA have physically visited all of these factories, met with their top management and immediately chose Shanxi because of their history, cooperation and desire to make the Striker/Shanxi hammer a world-class forging hammer!

All Striker STC series hammers carry a lifetime (original owner) warranty against structural failure of the hammer's cast frame and one year warranty on all electrical/mechanical components against defects in materials and craftsmanship. The Striker hammers are equipped with 60hz electric motors and heavy gauge wiring which conform to Striker Tools written specifications.

This insures that the electric motors have been tested at the factory thereby allowing the technicians to balance and tune each hammer to provide maximum power. Additionally, each hammer is further tested and certified by factory Q.C. technicians and shipped with these certifications for your records. Final inspection is completed and warranted by the China Commodity Export Bureau.
